Anna’s Wedding 
A few weeks ago I had the privilege of working with a sweet and beautiful bride named Anna. She and her (now) husband Steve were married on a beautiful plantation in VA and I was lucky enough to not only do her makeup but to also be a guest at the wedding. The love story that this couple has will bring tears to your eyes and they are both just absolutely wonderful people. Anna opted for a great bronze/cranberry shadow combination to bring out her beautiful eyes and a soft/natural lip and blush color. The wedding was soooo much fun and just stunning and I knew from the moment we received her gorgeous invitation (that I instantly fell in love with and saved to show people) that the whole wedding would have a wonderful vintage/romantic feel . Her invitations were completely hand made and had these great little touches like painted flowers and a hand drawn map. You see–I adore beautiful paper products….I just love the little extra touch they add to weddings. In fact, I had many paper details at my own wedding from my friend Kori Clark over at Paper and Pigtails….Who, by the way, just launched an awesome new stationary collection which can be found by clicking here.. So here I am at Anna’s wedding and I meet a woman named Monica Marquez and her beautiful family….we get to talking and then I find out that SHE was the talented designer and calligrapher behind Anna’s invitations that I had drooled over so many months ago!!! It was such a pleasure to meet such a talent and I wanted to take a moment to share some of her beautiful work.
